Partnerships:
One of the most
important partnerships in the Active School Flag programme is with the
pupils of the school. Our Active School Committee groups have worked
very closely with the class they are representing. The committee
members also monitor the yard at breaks to ensure everyone is being
active and people are walking while they talk. The committee members
are also very good at reminding their teachers to take movement breaks
throughout the day.
We have also
received great support from our Parents Association in the process of
applying for our Active School Flag. They have helped to fund many
events during the year and bought some valuable equipment.
We have enjoyed
working with The Clare Sports Partnership and benefited greatly from
this.
